0023 Brickwork

On 23rd on November 2022 we traveled to Toxteth in Liverpool to lay a Brick of Mu for Yoshi in the Peoples Pyramid. Toxteth Day of the Dead is held each year to add new bricks to the foundation stone, atop a pallet processed by truck around the area in the search of a suitable site.

Here is Yoshi’s mumification page. Buy your brick now , die later.

During February 2023 we set about photographing the many cameras and lenses, artworks and sculptures sorted at Limehouse Town Hall with Derek Francis.

Derek never met Yoshi but has become quite a fan after seeing the images and reading about his life and work at Yoshi’s blog then hearing about the collection we have begun stacking and sorting. He was kind enough to setup his portable studio in the hall and capture everything, thanks mate!

He also shot portraits of Yoshi’s friend and cinematographer Gordon Cooper, who has been instrumental in the logging of all the photographic equipment and continues to support the ongoing review of the many prints and negatives.
