It’s My life !
On September 22nd it’s Yoshi’s 78th birthday

Please join us on 18th, 19th, and 20th September to celebrate with a review of Yoshi’s stack in Toproom of Limehouse Town Hall. Free 12 noon till 8PM.
You will find a stunning collection of Images, Cameras, Sculptures and Drawings. There are thousands of analogue photograph prints and transparencies that you can help identify, comment and catagorise during active archive workshops. For the record, we have already posted 60 reviews of hundreds of project packages in the collection but also invite your involvement and intervention on the log of discovery and report of his lifelong exploration you see here. We are currently translating his studio journals and reflections on life, work and image.
You can expect to be delighted and amazed by the variety of Yoshi’s activities and interests as well as dazzled by the quality and quantity of his refined image making and experimentation with optics. He investigated the world with fisheye, parallax, pinhole, macro, microscopic and bokeh!
Toproom is a large shared Boxingclub space on the 2nd floor. Come along any time from 12 noon till 8PM each day to browse, review and activate the archive.

Call in advance or just turn up un announced is fine to meet friends and talk with David, Connor, Natsuki and James sorting the stack week by week about anything you would like to hear more about regards the collection and the discoveries being made. Buzz ‘It’s My Life’ at the main entrance.
Easily travel to Limehouse Town Hall by bus or train (DLR) . There are sturdy locking points for bicycles but car parking nearby is limited and expensive by day. Very sorry, but there is no lift to Toproom (not yet anyway) Images will be on show in the entrace hall and on each floor but there are 4 steps up to the bell before the ground floor.
