0062 Jugendbericht

This pack has been racked for ages awaiting review. It’s a 23 page report of a trip to Berlin in early 1980’s that Yoshi has visited some youth clubs in West Berlin where music arts and culture are being supported and encouraged.

Each page written in Japanese describes the context and characteristics of the places where young people seem to be determining their own media and developing narrative and this would have been of some fascination and intrigue.

We struggled a bit to capture the text for translation whilst keeping the medium format colour transparency’s in place. Anyway a lot of the images are loose having once been fixed to the paper by tape this long ago lost it’s stickiness. Google lens allows near instant translation and capture as shown here.
