Before traveling to Limehouse today visited Hilly Fields in Brockley to see Freddy’s Blossom Walk planted late last year his by friends and family, where we also dusted Yoshi’s ashes, a place we can easily visit each spring to enjoy the flowering Cherry trees and open spaces.

It’s almost two years since Yoshi died in Kings College Hospital, at a time of year he loved so much. The last posts to his studio blog featured just such settings and cherry blossom images.

Today we worked on a quick selection of colour images from the digital collection which we pinned up along the bare noticeboard of the back staircase inside Limehouse Town Hall. There is lots of room for improvement but we had fun and the overall effect is a sketch for us to contemplate going forward as we prepare an installation for the entrance hall.
